The event was held on Tuesday evening, 15 November 2011, at the Innoventures Hub. The event was part of the activities during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2011 in Egypt, and organized by Innoventures LLC, Mercator XXI, and Gemiza.

According to The Party Vote, the winning idea was Bayanat, a company that designs infographics for clients needing a creative and intuitive way of representing information and statistics.
